Seven criteria are retained as specified by the teacher. Weights are distributed with 20% each to Scientific Accuracy, Application of Concepts, and Analysis and Explanation (60% combined); 15% each to Design and Construction and Observation and Documentation (30% combined); and 5% each to Creativity and Resourcefulness and Presentation (10% combined), totaling exactly 100%. Points per criterion range from 1–4 matching the four performance levels. The weighted score is calculated as: for each criterion, divide the points earned by 4 (max), multiply by the criterion weight, then sum all seven weighted scores to produce a final score out of 100. Example: a student earning 4/4 on all criteria scores 100; a student earning 3/4 on all criteria scores 75. This scoring method supports competency-based, authentic assessment by weighting higher-order thinking criteria more heavily.
