Texas TEKS Science Standards

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for science, in effect from the 2024–25 school year, set out what Texas students learn in science in each grade and in Biology. Each level combines scientific and engineering practices, recurring themes and concepts, and content strands, and under each knowledge and skills statement are the student expectations teachers plan and assess against.
